Pat's Motor Brackets

Wheel
The wheel had a larger than normal outside diameter
So it was turned down on a lathe

Install Quantity 1, Hex Thin Jam Locknut
Screw it on backwards so the hex portion is facing outwards,
and the rounded part sits agianst the wheel bearing.
I used a visegrip to hold the shaft and open end wrench for the hex locknut
You may have to adjust the location later on in the assembly
Install this on the wheel side.

Install Quantity 1, Spacer that came with the wheel
Install Quantity 1, Hex Thin Jam Locknut
Screw it on backwards so the hex portion is facing outwards
Install this on the gear side
Now tighten up the two hex thin jam locknuts till the wheel is secured
It will still spin freely as all the force is now placed on the wheel bearings not the wheel

Install Quantity 2, Flat Washers to both sides of the threaded shaft
When assembled these will sit inside the motor brackets

Install the wheel
All hardware installed should now fit inside the brackets
This is when you will adjust the threaded shaft spacing
Making the spacing of the protruding shaft on both sides of the bracket even

Adjust the threaded shaft as needed

Install Flat Washers and Lockwashers to both sides

Install Hex Heavy Thick Locknuts to both sides

Install 2" Ball Casters
Using 3/6-16 Locknuts and Hex Locknuts
